Each and every day is so packed with fun, exciting, and enriching experiences. Jill and Konstantin who are kind of our hosts, if you will are both amazing people. I still have yet to visit Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, and Buckingham Palace. That's okay though, I just have to wait for a nice day/night! Classes are going really well and my professors are amazing. I feel so lucky to be here and I'm trying to make the most of everything while I'm here. The other day I went to read for class in Bloomsbury Square near my study center. It was awesome. Today we went to Kensington where we had a picnic lunch in Hyde Park and visited the Natural History Museum and also the Science Museum. Saw some really cool things in both. Also, while we were strolling through Hyde Park, I saw two long haired dachshund, and they made me miss my pup even more!!! Tomorrow I have a day off, but I think I'll be reading some because it's going to be rainy. And on Friday I have Shakespeare class then everybody is heading over to Stratford Upon Avon for an overnight. So excited for that as well! I will try to write soon! Cheers! ;)

P.S. -- Oxford on Saturday was amazing. We ate lunch in a meadow with a bunch or buttercup flowers, it was beautiful. And Sunday we had amazing weather for Brighton beach (pebble beach) where I had my first official real fish & chips with a pint of Fosters. It was all so much fun!!!!!!

sooo sleepy

So after 4 days in London, my tiredness is really really kicking in!! I could barely keep my eyes open about an hour and a half ago. I suppose tonight and tomorrow should be easier on my feet. I have the day off and there is a slight chance for some rain. I am planning on making pasta fagioli and starting to read up on some of the class material. And possibly go to Covent Gardens :)

greetings again!!

hello!! It's been a while since I posted because I haven't had internet and we've been so busy already!!! Everything is going great. The first day here was SO long, over 24 hours without sleeping, so that was pretty nuts. I love our two hosts, Jill and Konstantine. Last night was my first official night out for a pub crawl and it was freaking awesome. Our social and cultural host Konstantine showed me and my friend Raegan around at three bars and bought us half pints of different beers. After that we met up with the rest of the crew. It was so much fun! Our group of kids are really nice, probably couldn't have had a better bunch. I will update more later because I have to get ready to go to the British Museum!!! Cheers!! ;)

The night before I leave...

I am getting a little nervous but I know it's going to be a good time. I'm going to miss home and everything about it. I hope to see so much, learn so much and maybe learn a bit about myself too! Another post soon!
